Executive Secretary / Emergency Manager
Cheryl has worked for the Potter County Sheriff's Office since 2000. She started out as Dispatch Operator and worked her way up to training other dispatchers. When the in courthouse jail closed in 2004, Cheryl was hired as Executive Secretary. In 2009 Cheryl was handed Emergency Manager to her list of tasks and job titles. When she isn't busy answering phones she is busy working with local emergency responders and Sate Emergency Management. Cheryl can be found watering and caring for the flowers around the courthouse.
Deputy Ashley Blue Coat returned to Potter County Sheriff's Office November 2025. Deputy Blue Coat's patrols the county along with assisting in the administrative filings, civil service and sex offenders.

Deputy Alex Sorenson, started his career with the Potter County Sheriff's Office, October 28 2024. Deputy Sorenson's main area of responsibility is the Hoven area, satisfying the law enforcement contract with the City of Hoven and Potter County. Deputy Sorenson also patrols the county and assists with civil service, sex offenders and pistol permits.
